MISSION
To establish a comprehensive and systematic information resource centre regarding the Melaka Mufti Department, fatwa, falak and related fields, while providing client-oriented services that are efficient, effective and of high quality.
OBJECTIVES
To collect reference materials suitable for the needs of the Melaka Mufti Department from various sources and in various formats in accordance with rules and laws.
To manage and maintain the reference materials of the Melaka Mufti Department resource centre in a systematic and user-friendly manner.
To document and record systematically and professionally all activities of the Melaka Mufti Department in digital recordings and photography periodically.
To publish and distribute relevant information about the Melaka Mufti Department periodically in print, digital or electronic media to the public.
To coordinate and monitor the accuracy of information disseminated on the al-azim portal efficiently.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Ensure the library collection is continuously enhanced. The library collection consists of classical religious texts, translated books, seminar papers, articles, magazines, newspaper clippings and audiovisual materials.
Plan and implement information dissemination strategies to the public through electronic media or the department's website.
Coordinate the recording of all matters related to official activities organised by the department in video format and upload them to the department's website.</li>
Manage materials for publication and printing such as department bulletins, pamphlets, magazines, and journals including current issues decided in the Melaka State Fatwa Committee Meetings.
Coordinate religious Q&A via the Mufti Department's email.
