VISION

• Upholding the Shariah within the community and the State of Melaka

MISSION

• Issuing fatwas on matters that are not yet final or that give rise to controversy related to Shariah law.
• Enhancing the public's understanding and appreciation of fatwas and Shariah law.
• Utilizing information and communication technology in research and fatwa activities.
• Establishing cooperative relationships with JAKIM, state and regional Mufti Departments and educational institutions in the aspect of fatwa studies.

OBJECTIVES

• To provide fatwas or Shariah rulings on religious matters and current issues that cause disputes in society in a complete, orderly and systematic manner as guidance for Muslims in the State of Melaka.
• To conduct studies and research in various aspects related to fatwas and Shariah law that are relevant to current circumstances.
• To process applications for interviews for Sharia Officers, teaching certifications for religious subjects and the Qur'an in accordance with the provisions of the Islamic Religious Administration Enactment (State of Melaka) 2002 and the prescribed Rules for Teaching Qualifications, efficiently, systematically and with quality.
