The use or reuse of data must comply with the terms and conditions below.

Use of data under these terms
- The data owner grants permission to use the data free of charge.

Users may do the following:
- Copy, publish, distribute and transfer the data;
- Adapt the data;
- Use the data for commercial and non-commercial purposes; and
- Combine the data with other data or compile the data into products or applications.

If implementing any of the actions stated in the paragraphs above, the user MUST:
- State the source of the data in the product or application according to the attribution specified by the data owner;
- Provide a link to these Terms of Use;
- If the data owner does not provide a statement of data intellectual property ownership, the user must use the following statement:
“Data and information are subject to the Open Data Terms of Use of the Government of Malaysia 1.0”

Exclusions
These Terms of Use do not grant any rights over:
- Personal data;
- The name, coat of arms, logo or any official symbol of the data owner;
- Logos of public sector organizations or departments;
- Royal emblems and military insignia;
- Third-party rights over which the data owner has no authority;
- Any intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks and design rights; and
- Identity documents such as Malaysian Passports, MyKad.

No Warranty
- The data is provided as supplied by the data owner. The data owner is excluded from any representations, warranties, obligations and liabilities in relation to the data; and
- The data owner is not responsible for any errors or loss of data. The data owner is also not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from the use of the data. The data owner does not guarantee that the data will be provided on a continuous basis.

Governing Law
- These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction and the data owner is the principal owner of the data.
